Rev. Bob Milburn became the senior pastor here at the
Smyrna
Church of the Nazarene in September, 2004.
Pastor Bob grew up in
Cobb
County and his wife of 25 years, Lisa, is a registered nurse working as a Medication Occurance Analyst at the Wellstar Hospitals. They have two daughters, Jessica and Megan, are students at
Trevecca
Nazarene
University in Nashville, TN
Rev. Bob Milburn has been a minister in the Church of the Nazarene for 25 years and has served congregations in Georgia, Texas, Mississippi,
Alabama and
Tennessee . In addition to his pastoral ministry, Pastor Bob has served Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN as Assistant Dean of Students and was the Volunteer Coordinator at MUST Ministries - a compassionate ministry center that serves the poor and homeless of Cobb County In his spare time, Pastor Bob loves to sing, read and landscape.
Reverend Troy Carter became our Associate Pastor beginning January 1, 2007.
He is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene.
He grew up in
Bethel
Church of the Nazarene in
Nashville, Tennessee and later was minister to youth in this congregation.
Troy has also served as an associate pastor in
Jackson, Mississippi and was senior pastor at First church of the Nazarene in
Jackson,
Tennessee . He is married to Danielle Rusk-Carter who is a
Metro
School Teacher.
