Are children welcome in worship and is there childcare available?
We believe children are gifts from God. Squirming children and For more information about the classes and their locations, speak with one of the greeters in the foyer on Sunday morning. They would be happy to show you the way!
Where do I park and is there handicap accessibility? There is handicap and visitor parking located outside our Sanctuary. The Sanctuary is wheelchair accessible.
How should I dress for church? There is no dress code for worship. We want you to come as you are. At most worship services you will see folks dressed in anything from blue jeans to suits and dresses.
What exactly is Sunday School? Sunday School describes the hour on Sunday morning devoted to small group Bible study. At Smyrna, from 9:30-10:30, there are a variety of small group opportunities for children and adults alike. Children's classes engage kids with age appropriate lessons, activities and games designed to share God’s love as it is revealed through the stories of scripture.
No, we do not put visitors on the spot. When you come to our church, you will be greeted and welcomed, but never embarrassed or made to feel uncomfortable. We will give you a card which will ask your name, address and other information so we can get in touch with you and get to know you better.
