Rev. Bob Milburn became the senior pastor here at the
Smyrna Church of the Nazarene in September, 2004.
Pastor Bob grew up in
Cobb
County and his wife of 27 years, Lisa, is a registered nurse working as a Medication Occurance Analyst at the Wellstar Hospitals. They have two daughters, Jessica 22 yr. who is in the Master of Education program at Trevecca
Nazarene
University in Nashville, TN and Megan 20 yr., plans to attend Kennesaw State University.
Rev. Milburn has been a minister in the Church of the Nazarene for 27 years and has served congregations in Georgia, Texas, Mississippi,
Alabama and
Tennessee . In addition to his pastoral ministry, Pastor Bob has served Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, TN as Assistant Dean of Students and was the Volunteer Coordinator at MUST Ministries - a compassionate ministry center that serves the poor and homeless of Cobb County. In his spare time, Pastor Bob loves to sing, read and landscape.
